Can't open Links!

I get an email msg from About.com and when i click on a link it won't open. this also happens at other websites. i tried holding the Ctrl key and also the Shift key while pressing the enter key and nothing happens. I'm running XP Home and I have Comcast.
Your help would be appreciated.

Probably due to the Tools/Internet Options/Security tab/Custom settings in Internet Explorer. Check them out, they might be blocking this.
Another possibility could be redirect-settings in yoy Firewall program.
