What is much more interesting here is the science of fairness , rewards and punishments .
Probably some of the outraged people here - feel outrage when folks try to claim the kudos of being an ex-Vet ( military service ) - and are happy people hunt them down and out them .
Well lots of people taking vaccinations , wearing masks, social distancing etc do so not only for self health , but in the knowledge of helping society as a whole . So yes they are happy you can not attend - yes they are annoyed with you take up an ICUs because of your stance.

Polio has been eradicated from most of the world using using the Polio vaccine. Smallpox has been completely eradicated using the Smallpox vaccine. Exactly the same for Rinderpest.

People want to steal my right to free speech even though it's part of the Bill of Rights. 1/3 of the population has yet to be vaccinated if the reported numbers are to be believed. I love it when people think in black and white as it indicates they're arguing for the sake of arguing or that their mind is made up and they're just looking for whatever info supports their position.

Polio was eliminated from most countries in the world (still extant in a few) by immunizing as many people as possible and focusing on the small pockets of local polio breakouts, treating and immunizing those people. I'm sure those who lived through polio's 10% death rate retained some natural immunity but IMO a 10% death rate to achieve natural immunity is an extremely poor choice when the polio vaccine has a death rate many orders of magnitude below that.

In the same way, naturally developed immunity to covid is a very poor alternative to an EUA vaccine when natural immunity from covid currently results in a 1-2% death rate. The death rate from the covid vaccines is again many orders of magnitude below that (<0.002%) making vaccines the superior choice.

I'm only referring to one part of mental capability . Steve Jobs is done some brilliant stuff - but he died due to stupidity - feeding his cancer fruits and veges and not taking conventional medicine .
