Changed zip file, what a plank

Hi all, hope you can help me, I recently downloaded a zip file that when i tried to open it Vista said it was corrupt. So i decided to try and explore the file upon which vista asked me what i wanted to open it with and i thought it was recommending internet explorer as that was the only icon showing to i clicked on it !!!!!!!!

AAARRGGGHHHHHhhhhhhhhh..........

Now all my zip file show as an internet explorer icon and wont open. Infact when i go to open it all that happens it the screen flashes from descktop to blank white continualy with nothing happening untill i delete the file between flashing.

How do i get the file to open as a zip icon again, i dont know what program to select in vista ???

Please help i hope this made sense.

no worries, i downloaded winzip 11 pro and sorted it.
