Cpu+mobo upgrade

Hey all.

So I have a friend of mine who has an i5-2500k (still a capable cpu), plus an asus p8z77-v lx mobo. He wants to sell it, and I thought well I could do with the i5 (will be a good upgrade from my i3-2120), since I do play bf3 and bf4.

My question is: how much would you pay for such cpu + mobo?
I live in UK btw.

Check out eBay prices on the two items. That will give you an idea.

• $100 tops for CPU
• $50 tops for Motherboard

Havent used ebay in years but will check the prices in there. Either way, I'll make a reasonable offer to him and probably buy him a pint of beer too just to even things out. (y)
