D-link DI-524 router forgot password

Good evening. I was hoping that someone would be able to help me access the security code that I had encrypted my router with. I lost the code and have tried calling d-link to no avail. I tried entering th ip address for the router and it is asking for passwords (that I forgot).

How ironic, I've presently got the same issue

What I'm going to do, is use a pin (or pen) and push and hold the little reset button in (I think its 5 secs on mine)
The reset button will be located on the router somewhere (look closely, mines at the back)
Anyway, you will obviously need your Username and password for the Internet to be put back in the settings area, again (in the router)

Will this bring it back to scratch or will I need my old code to get in.

Back to defaults

ie Your login IP address will work (of course)
And the default Userrname Password will work (I didn't look up this free info, but its usually Administrator and Password (but confirm first) Hmm, I better do this too

Oh, the reset is done with the router ON (it will reset (all lights go off and on) once you hold in that tiny button
