Dell desktop won't turn on

Hello, I have a Dell xps 400 and have never had any problems to speak of. I tried to turn on computer and nothing. After checking all the obvious, I took side panel off and noticed a green light on the mobo. I have checked the power button and all cables, nothing. Replaced battery 3 weeks ago but had no problems after wards. I hope this is an easy fix and would appreciate any help. Thanks, oh, when I say no power, I mean monitor will not power up either.

The Dell power supply has failed... or hopefully not the motherboard. Try replacing the power supply first though
