Dell Restarts itself when not being used

I'm not really sure what the heck is going on, I've had this Dell Inspiron 1000 Laptop for the last year and it has always restarted itself about 20-30 minutes of me not using it, it doesn't matter what applications I have running or even if I have any apps running at all, It still restarts (no blue screen, restarts like reset button).

I don't think it is overheating, it gets hot at times when I use it a ton but NEVER restarts when I using it... only when I have not for a while.

In setup & recovery: Automatically Restart is not selected or does it make a difference if it is selected.

I don't think it any certain app that running either because I went into msconfig and took all the startup apps off of it then restarted.... (didn't open anything) 24 minutes later... boom!... computer restarts.

What in the world is going on? Anyone have any ideas?

Find out what Windows are really for:
open them and throw that PoS Dell OUT through them!

In BIOS check if you have any settings for Wake-on-LAN, Wake-on-Modem or whatever (somewhere under Powersavings I assume).
Do the same in your modem/network settings and in Device manager.
Somewhere lurks a setiing that gets activated after a certain time.
Check that you use ONLY a trusted screensaver, nasties have been known to 'hide' within thate cute Kittie or Doggie walking all over your screen!
(does the screensaver timer co-incide with your reboot-time?)
