Even the RTX 2080 Ti struggles with Watch Dogs: Legion at 60fps in 1080p

I'd also anticipate the 2080 Ti of all cards to have falling sales heading into the 3080/3090/Ti release as the top end cards are the ones with diminishing performance returns for the cost and therefore the highest value loss when the following generation is released.

Put another way: if the 2070 Super is replaced by the 3060 with the same performance and the same product stack selling price, you are now getting $500 of performance for $350, a $150 loss for the late 2070S buyer.

If the 2080 Ti is replaced by the 3080 with the same performance and the same product stack selling price, you are now getting $1200 of performance for $700, a $500 loss for the late 2080 Ti buyer.

There's a lot more to lose at the top by buying late in the product cycle.

Let me put it in the simplest term, 2080 Ti owners have nothing to complain about the 2080 Ti, only the people who don't have 2080 Ti do :D.

Can't say the same for 5700 XT owners though...

Ultimately the customer satisfaction is what keep people to buy your brand. Surely 2080 Ti owners will only upgrade to 3080 Ti and 4080 Ti when those come out.

And keep the pennies counting out of the equation, if people want to invest they wouldn't be buying a gaming PC anyways...

Yep. Except for the price...or the RTX performance...or the graphical artifacting that people experienced (space invanders).

Yep, nothing to complain about.
