Event 1003 - causes BSOD on shutdown minidump attached

Hi Guys,

My fiance's father's computer does this. It's a Sony laptop.

As a result, the machine can't be shutdown, only hibernate or restart work.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

All minidumps crash at sonypvl3.sys. This is the Sony Handycam DVD Camcorder driver. See this thread HERE for the same issue.

Edit: Your second set of minidumps have exactly the same problem.
