Facebook no longer removes posts claiming Covid-19 was manufactured

How about this logic. Millions of cases, small amounts of death equals a case fatality rate that is so small it's stupid.
I'll do this for you. I'll get checked for anti-bodies against Covid-19 in my system. I'm 100% sure that I have them since this virus is Sooooooo contagious and deadly and yet I'm still alive.
And after I test positive for antibodies in my system that specifically target Covid-19 I want my antibodies passport/badge awarded to me so that I can wear it on my chest proudly.
"Buh buh buh buh buh we dont know how long those antibodies will stay in your system. Grandma killer!!!!!!!!!!"
Oh okay. Well, here, chew on this.
You obviously have a quarrel with big pharma, and it's sort of clouding your outlook.
Make no mistake about it, I'm of a likewise opinion, and I can cite chapter and verse of exactly that is. Yes, big pharma is greedy beyond all reason, and they have too much influence on our political system.

One standout is the "abilify" versus.its "breakthrough replacement, Rexulti. What's the truth? Well, Abilify went generic, so they moved a molecule here, put one there, and patented it under the name "Rexulti". The net result of which is that they can now sell the new variant at exorbitant prices.

The video ad campaign for Rexulti was so blatantly loaded with propaganda as to be repugnant.

Prior to this, there was the "breakthrough treatment" for, "restless leg syndrome". The majority of us, myself included wondered, "shouldn't they be trying to cure cancer"?

Still even the most "RICO" oriented companies get it right and do some good once in a while.

I endured measles, mumps, and chicken pox as a child. Now the question becomes am I envious of those who will never have to? Or do I think they're whiny little wimps? Well, as it turns out, both statements are true.

As to the root argument of this thread, SARS 2 is a zoonotic virus, which jumped from bats to humans. I don't think we actually know if there was an intermediate specie or species in the process.

So, as for this bullsh!t "it came from the market", you would have to assume a bat bit a fish which in turn a human ate and then became, "patient zero".

The more logical assumption is that it came from the Wuhan lab, where it was being cultured, but not, "manufactured"

No matter what these younglings would like to think, there is evil in the hearts of men and governments alike, period. And the only thing the Chi Coms could or would say is "whoops, it wasn't us", and blame it on the local bats. Let's face it, they couldn't release anthrax or bubonic plague in the marketplace, now could they? They're be caught "red handed" <(pun intended)> if they did.

As I'm pretty old, each year I get "old fart's extra heavy duty dose", of flu vaccine. I don't think I'm being herded, manipulated, or controlled> Besides, it's free with Medicare..

And Covid vaccine is free to all those eligible. Why not go for it?.

About the only thing Trump got right in his entire "reign", was coining the term, "kung flu".

Let's be honest getting your news from Facebook is less reliable and believable than reading it in the funny pages.
Personally, I think it is amazing that anyone, ever, considered Fakebook a "news site". I think it is even more amazing that anyone still considers Fakebook a "News site".

That lab was set up to study bats and their virus. So far they found 500 different bats with 500 different virus and the research is still going on. The only other species that have that many virus could be your common field mouse.
Why you do it in China and not the US because it is far cheaper. Your labor do not change jobs. They are lock in their field of work. If you start at that lab analyzing bat poop then you will retire from that job having the title of bat pooper.
Sure beats working in the field of planting rice.
Or, you could head to South Amereica and study these nasties: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire_bat

Although I don't know if the job would pay better or worse than planting or cooking cocaine

Yes, it's a small fatality rate.... there are 7 BILLION people on this planet give or take... even a really small fatality rate still kills MILLIONS of people...

And yes, getting Covid does leave you with antibodies... but we don't have enough evidence to suggest that this leaves you immune to Covid - remember, it's mutating quite quickly (and will continue to do so until we all get vaccinated), so there is no guarantee, even if you are immune now, that you will be next year...

That's why these RNA vaccines are so amazing - they can be tailored or "edited" so that as the disease mutates, they can be adapted to continue to provide protection.
I guess you didn't read the article. Antibodies going into bone marrow for life until needed again is what I would call evidence. But the problem is that means the solution is not an 'Amazing Va Va VACCINE!'. And therein lies the problem. Me getting vaxxed? Ain't gonna happen.... You want those needles...Knock yourself out.

So basically Facebook and Twitter have been accidentally censoring the truth from us, though unfounded at the time, and labeled it as misinformation. They’ve banned people based on a rule that was supposed to protect us from lies, and instead ended up hiding the truth. This is why tech companies, fact checking companies, and media companies should not label misinformation or engage in any similar practice. They may intend to be informing us of the truth, but they don’t even have the truth and are incapable of effectively distinguishing misinformation from truth. This is not the first time this has happened and it’s become more frequent as they’ve put in more effort into this futile and harmful endeavor.
The problem is is that not even the scientific community is certain of the origin of COVID-19. And the problem with Fakebook is that it is so popular that many people think that because Joe Schmoe said something on Fakebook, it must be true which itself is a logical fallacy.

Fakebook is and never was a news site. If anything, it is the modern-day equivalent of the gossip that used to originate, as was said in days past, around the water cooler. Nothing said in Fakebook is necessarily backed by fact.

While Fakebook should not necessarily have deleted dubious posts, it is the Fakebook user's responsibility, IMO, to keep one thing in mind when they waste their time of Fakebook. Everything posted there is of dubious value at best.

Why people believe posts on Fakebook is probably more consistent with why people believe Tribal knowledge. It lacks one thing, IMO, in that Tribal cultures depended on -- their information being true for their survival. Anyone posting on Fakebook OTOH, is probably more likely to be looking for followers as it will give them some sort of glorification.

Medical misinformation especially cannot be enforced well as most knowledge in science is theory and not law, meaning even scientists are not claiming it as fact. I can claim that Pluto is a planet, and I bet one day the astronomy community will flip on that very claim to agree with me. The reason why is because the underlying science supporting the definition of a planet is a theory of how our solar system formed. There will be additional evidence collected in regards to how planets form that may no longer support the current theory and change the official definition of a planet. Should I be censored from saying “Pluto is a Planet” if there was some reason that it would be harmful for people to believe me and have views that go against the grain?
IMO, your argument about Pluto with respect to this topic is more of a strawman than anything else.
What classifies a planet a planet is a decision made in 2006 by the International Astronomical Union, and, at least as I see it, it could be considered an arbitrary set of conditions that may, indeed, change over time. It has little to do with what is considered the theory of formations of solar systems other than the fact that most solar systems that we know of could arguably be traced to the formation of a star - which is part of current theory of how solar systems form, and the defiintion of a planet includes that it must orbit a star. http://curious.astro.cornell.edu/ph...-the-requirements-for-being-a-planet-beginner Science already suspects that there are rogue planets, I.e., that there are planets that for some reason escaped their host star, and for that matter, it is also suspected that there are rogue stars, too. Then I guess, though, that since both contain the word Rogue in their descriptions that the former is not truly a planet and the latter is not truly a star; both are, rather, escapees.

Oh my God. I liked your entire post until you blew it bigtime at the end....."Its free....why not go for it?" LOL. That is so hilarious.

Hey man you know what. Free is good. Maybe I'll do this. If somebody steps up and makes the deal just a bit sweeter by ... I dont know ... giving me some free fries. Dammit I'll do it then.

Yeah yeah, the storm is coming, Q is going to restore Trump to the presidency after JFK Jr comes out of hiding, California wildfires are started by space lasers controlled by Jews, mole children live under Central Park, Democrats eat the blood of babies for eternal youth, Arizona ballots have bamboo in them because they were made in China, blah blah blah

I did read it... apparently you didn't UNDERSTAND it :)

Antibodies does not necessarily equate to "immune".... it simply means the body now has something to FIGHT the disease... there's no evidence that you are permanently immune to Covid simply because you have some antibodies...

The main comparison here - which I'm loathe to add as people often love to compare them for other purposes - is the flu. When you get the flu, your body develops antibodies... but funny thing... you're not immune to the flu the next year!

Viruses mutate - and Covid is no exception!! The vaccines we currently have from Moderna and Pfizer have proved effective against most of the variants (Astra Zeneca to a lesser extent) but they may need to be "tinkered with" over the months and years to come... much like how you need to take a flu shot every year.

Now, the flu shot is only about 50% effective, depending on the year (I still STRONGLY recommend getting it, as do most medical professionals), but the Covid vaccines are over 90% effective. The more people immune, the less chance the disease has to spread and mutate....

You do not own TS. Report it to the censors if you think the post is offensive.
You do you and I will do me. BTW: Read your own words. If you really believe what you said you wouldn't have said anything. If I go too far, the censors you speak of reads everything and will step in.

I kinda agree, the problem was that during his time in office news agencies were making up stories or flipping stories around to make Trump look bad. We all can admit the majority of news agencies weren't being professional weren't taken seriously, almost like America's Democrat news agencies acted like "TMZ". To be honest most people didn't take those agencies seriously and no joke Trump was bashed 24/7 Good example was when Dems blamed Trump for the cages but it was Obama that built them!!!!!!
Somehow, you think "left wing" news agencies made Trump look bad? Trump did not need help in that respect, he made himself look bad.

And you some how think that "right wing" "news" outlets have any more of a hold of truth on the world than any other news agency??

Good luck with that.

Yes, I know. Believe me, I debated posting because some people just have no clue and follow the herd. I post anyway whether you like it or not or whether you judge it or not. If censors want to censor it, that's their prerogative.

Yup during that time the Dems were too busy with those witch hunts and also making gold impeachment pens. I'm being serious look up the time frame.

Remember when Pelosi ripped up those papers behind Trump on TV? 80 year old baby that should be focused on real issues.
That's why Trump lost the election. Oh, I know, don't tell me. The election was stolen from him and he is your king.

Well, they are getting desperate to shoot up you holdouts. Around here, Wawa, and I think Starbucks are giving away free stuff to people who get vaccinated.. I've seen free donuts as well.

So,"come for the vaccine, and stay for the coffee". Or, "come for the donuts, if you live through the vaccination".:

I don't think you are going to get anywhere in your "discussion" with the clown. It sounds to me like he/she is either driven by fear or that he/she is driven by bad reactions to vaccines.

See, I thought that Pluto was demoted to ?????? status, simply because it wasn't round like a proper planet should be. Instead it's more of an ugly pregnant peanut shaped thingy, suffering from, "red headed stepchild syndrome"..

Well said.Youre an odd sort. I can't figure out how you choose to vaccinate every year knowing the corruption in government and big pharma.
If you spent hours and hours a week focused on nothing but finding truth you might be a little bit more cautious about injecting magical cocktails into your bloodstream.
I'm waiting for the vaccines that give us all eternal life.

That's funny. I'm driven by fear of death and so are you but your special because.....well please explain?
It's funny how given that covid 19 is such a killer and contagious virus I'm not dead yet. I'll trust my immune system over a cockroach like Bill Gates any day of the week.
You called it right. No one has given me a reason to alter my stance. In fact, the link to the article I posted in this thread has given me even greater confidence in my immune system and my stance towards vaccinations. If you want the world vaxxed you'll have to hide all truth, censor it, you know like Google, Facebook and Twitter are doing now.
Google the Great Barrington Declaration. Your not gonna change their minds either with your hocus pokus double speak "we dont have enough evidence to trust our antibodies" schtick.

The funny thing is hundreds of millions of people have already recovered from covid 19 sans vaccines. They have antibodies. The vaccine supposedly works by the same mechanisms which is to activate the immune system. And yet I'm supposed to believe that a vaccine that was developed and is now only available under the banner of "emergency use" is going to do something better than my own immune system? Give me a break.

But keep up the trolling. It's working on some people.

I'm only one of millions who wont alter their stance. So, let's stop pretending, ok?

<<Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master.>>

Quote from Alpha Centauri
Pravin Lal, iirc. That game is legitimately art and as prescient as 1984:

"As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master."

PLEASE Google "debunking the great barrington declaration"... you'll see it's a bunch of LIES and half-truths....

Your logic of "Covid can't be that bad because I'm still alive" isn't really worth responding to... but I guess I will anyways... Please tell me you understand that nothing short of nuclear armageddon will kill EVERYONE on the planet immediately - and it's debatable even that would do so... Just because you're still alive does NOT mean Covid isn't that serious!

And the flaw here is that you equate vaccination with "government and big pharma".... I agree with you in that the government shouldn't always be trusted... nor should big pharma... HOWEVER: if you do your research - independant of what the government and big pharma puts out... you'll see that the SCIENTIFIC evidence is staunchly on the side of vaccines.

Just because someone is a jerkface, doesn't mean everything they tell you is lies... Covid vaccines are GOOD... get one please!
