File System Error 1073741792 Windows 10 OS

Hello All!
Thanks for trying to help out.
My HP 2000 Laptop (about 6 years old) has a problem when I try to download anything.
Why does it not complete the download, I get a message: File System error (- 1073741792)
Is it the hard drive?, Windows 10?

In the search box, enter SOUND
click on Sound Control Panel
select Windows Default
click ok

Yes thank you for getting back to me.
I tried that fix, I tried it a few times, I even re-booted the pic. However, when I tried to download, I still get the same message. Do I have to re-install Windows 10?
