GeForce RTX 2070 Review: Same Architecture, Lower Cost, No Ray Tracing Yet

I am thinking of buying used 1080ti or new 2070 rtx. Here is why: 1080ti is so freaking powerful, and only a hundred more than new 2070. Also, Ti is more reliable technology, I dont need a headache with space invaders and defective memory.
But at the same time, what if Nvidia and game makers fix their cursed ungodly rays? I like graphic aspect of games. I wanna see beautiful games on my screen. And in this regard, for 500 I will get a card that is 100 cheaper than ti and also with 3 year warranty. Choice is really hard....

Its not hard at all. Go with 2070. Whole debate is for those who want to Upgrade from old gen not for those who are buying now. 1080ti at $100 more will be a sore mistake.

Let me be the Devil on your other shoulder, and I will reply as to what would I do.

If I was buying now....
I would go for 1080Ti because, its more reliable its going to last you quite a time till then Nvidia would have sorted this mess with better picture of ray tracing and new gen would be out too.

If I could wait till JAN 9 I would see what AMD is announcing in CES.
