    What's the error?

Is it a Windows error or an error that the game throws? What does it say? Does the game shut down when you get the error? Please provide specific details about the error, otherwise we cannot help you.

Its a game error which reads.

    Unable to find compatible videocard.
    Possible reasons:
-videocard is not supported. Please consult game manual.
-old drivers. Please intstall lastest drivers from vendors site.

    Rendering devices list:
    NVIDIA Geforce4 MX 420, Hardware - device does not support 4 simultaneous textures. Xenus.exe caused a exception_breakpoint in module kernel32.dll at 001b:77e6d756

Looks like your video card can handle a maximum of 64MB, while according to the Atari website for Boiling Point (, you need a vid card that has at least 128MB and supports T&L. Looks like you may be out of luck.

    Transform and Lighting

    T & L = Transform and Lighting. I didn't know either so I googled it.

Sorry about that. Basically, most new video cards that you're going to find on the shelves anymore will have that. The bigger issue with your card and this game is having only 64MB of memory according to the GeForce website. Odds are, from what I know, most cards that'll support at least DirectX 7 or 8 will have some support for T&L. I could be wrong on that last part though.

Basically i think its about time i upgraded my graphics card.

What the best on the market at the minute?
