Google Desktop Search not indexing media files (and others)

  1. I just installed Google Desktop Search 5 on my computer and I really love all those gadgets and the sidebar.
But it seems that my files aren't indexed correctly. I have 3 harddrives (2 internal and 1 extern usb2.0). But my mp3s aren't recognized! I read that Google Desktop can read ID3tag and therefore it should show the music i'm looking for, right? I have also some word docs that do not show. The files i'm talking about are on my second internal harddrive (the other has the OS), but there are however files showing that are on this harddrive! So why do some show and others not?? I'm talking about mp3, avi, jpeg, doc files. So the sort of files that the app should index, right?
Can anyone help me with this?
I tried to tell Google desktop to scan for every harddrive in preferences, but it didn't change a thing! Help please!
