Hard Drives

So I finally decided that I need a new HD. Will any HD work compatibly with an PC? IF not what do I have to look for?

all you really need to know is if you need ide or sata. other than that it's pretty much just up to you what brand and size you buy

Hmm...I think i need IDE. How would I know which i needed

you will be able to tell by the cable going into your current hard drive. if it looks like this then it's ide, if it's like this then it's sata. alternatively you could look up your motherboard's specs and see what it supports.
