Help Compressing/shrinking .exe file

Can anyone help me do this? I have a 283 mb .exe file that I want to compress and send in an email so I can access it on two other computers at a another location.

The thing is the other two computers are very slow and take a long time to download 283 mb while this one does it in a matter of minutes. Is there any way I can shrink it?

I tried using thinstall to do it, but it didn't work.

You could extract the files from the exe and create archives and then rebuild the exe

Would be better to use something like winrar and split the exe into several rar files.
