Help !!! NIS 2005 crash with Yahoo messenger !!!

since i update my Yahoo messenger to version 7.5,i cant open the Yahoo messnger when my Norton Internet security 2005 is enabled...
only when i disable NIS 2005 , Ym just working fine...
i even uninstall ym 7.5 n install back 7.0...but the result also the same...

How to solve this problem ?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

The obvious solution would be to uninstall that Symantec/Norton crap.

Get the free AVG antivirus programme from HERE

Then get the free Zonalarm firewall from HERE

Disconnect from the internet, and completely uninstall Norton.

Then, install Zonealarm, followed by AVG. Reboot your system, and reconnect to the net. Run the AVG updates.
