hi..I have xp on my laptop and inadvertently changed drivers whilst trying to create a port using "portforward"now I cant access the internet..this is through a belkin wireless router.it keeps saying use appropriate driver and I dont know what or how to do this...how do I find out what or where the driver is ,take it out and reinstall the original?.the router appears to be working o.k. with other p/cs and looks like my laptop is problem...unfortunately Dell dont work weekends ..so no help there....this is a Dell Vostro and have all the instalation cd,s......desperate....appreciate help..philthy
 
Try through device manager.

Start -> Run -> devmgmt.msc -> OK

Then go to network controllers.

Your Belkin router should be listed there. If it is double click and go to drivers.

If available click on "roll back driver" just to be sure it not changed. However i'm pretty sure that will be greyed out.

However click on update driver and see if windows will automatically scan for it and install if.

If not you will have to look on the router itself and then google it
