How do I know if I have been malware attacked succesfully?

In the past couple of days i have got 3 pages that have popped up and said something about my computer might be at harm and needs to do a scan, at least two of those times i unplugged my connection before i clicked exit.

I run Iobit Security and Webroot scans and they came up nothing.
