You know when western propaganda works, when people hate on Chinese and Russians even if they never had negative experiences with any of them.
You can easily spot it in online games, if anybody with Cyrillic or Asian-lettered name is in the same game, people immediately come with comments like:
"Oh it must be a cheater/hacker"
"Oh it must be a bad player"
"Oh it must be a bad/toxic person"
This is happening for decades, even if these players don't do anything wrong, they're already being treated unfairly for no apparent reason.
How is it that despite the US and other countries invading and destroying countries, their citizens are not treated like trash?
"The number of people killed directly in the violence of the post-9/11 wars in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and elsewhere are estimated here. Several times as many more have been killed as a reverberating effect of the wars — because, for example, of water loss, sewage and other infrastructural issues, and war-related disease."
It is estimated 4.5 million people lost their lives either directly or indirectly in the post 9/11 wars. These are citizens, not combatants.
The UN estimates the Ukraine war since 2022 caused the deaths of 13k civilians, which in comparison to the post 9/11 wars casualties is "nothing" yet Russia and it's citizens, of which many don't want wars are being universally hated more than Americans.
