champ, T60 DOESN'T have an eeprom. if it has(as you telling me) please, post here it's marking.
alidabiri, of course i know about PC8394T. but i'd like to propose you, when you're telling us about eeprom, please tell exact model of IBM laptop good luck!

I think I found the chip still unsure of doing it. The chip says-
ATMEL 344
24C04N
it has 8 legs and has "UPW1" printed on the MB it self. Is this the right chip? Which legs do I short? I was hoping to get a passcode instead of doing it this way.

D810 Need Help Master Password..
