yeah the paper clip trick works but why tear apart the case when all you have to do is boot to the DSTCD and reset the service tag through dos, thus resetting all passwords in the bios setup. When I say bios passwords I mean the supervisor and user level passwords, not the HDD password.
I have not heard of anyone who has a bios password on the laptop that is able to boot beyond the screen. Also by default the USB and other devices are at the bottom of the boot order so I don't see how it would work if the first boot device is bootable but not accessable. Please give insight if you have any.
