HUGE FONT AND ICONS since reloading XP

I had to reformat my hard drive and reload Windows XP. Since doing that, my fonts and screen is so huge. I cant get to some of the options under Control Panel, Display to change them.

You need to install drivers for your video card.

You dont have to go through the control panel to set the screen resolution just Right click a blank space on your screen select properties, then sellect settings you should be able to see the screen resolution setting and change that to what ever you want. Then find the right driver.

Both Control Panel/Display and right-clicking on the Desktop lead to the same Display Properties window.
In there, try the Settings tab, hit the Advanced button and on the next panel select the tab General. Set the Display Font size to 'Small Fonts'.

All this, assuming you have loaded the proper video-drivers and resolution (e.g. 1024x768).
