Good evening all, i have a big, and in my case, never encountered problem.

This is a Dell Inspiron 6000, from 2005. The following devices all have a yellow sign and say " This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use [ Code 12] ".

the devices are :
- Broadcom 440x 10/100
- Intel PRO/wireless 2200GB
- Ricoh R/RL/5C476(II) or Compatible Cardbus controller
- SDA Standard Complant SD host controller
- and OHCI compliant IEEE I384 Host controller

I took reformatting as a last resort, after trying everything, from uninstalling the drivers, trying the windows troubleshooter, which of course is a complete waste of time. But then i bumped into the biggest problem, when ever i press a key on the keyboard during the POST, the computer freezes, so i cant even get to the BIOS or select a boot device, which makes it impossible to do a reformat. Anyway help would be truly appreciated. Any other info or questions please ask. My 5 years of experience has finnally met a challenge.

Do this at your own risk, but it has worked for me. Go to Device Manager, delete everything with a yellow sign. Do not restart. Then go to control panel, add hardeware, and follow the instructions. If you are using XP it will restore them.

Hope this helps? If they do not work know, nothing lost.
