Intel has announced x299 chipset based mobo's & they'll be available in India by this month end.

1 salient point in this mobo specs is it has 13-phase power option as against 12 phase power option that our existing mobos have.

Can anyone help / inform us the difference in 13 & 12 phase power options plsss???

replies from one & all expected soon plss

Motherboards have power phases usually for CPU and memory. Basically higher number of phases = better, but on many cases difference matters only if overclocking.

x299 platform seems to be very buggy and future CPU support is unknown (there might be new socket for 12+ core CPU's) so I recommend AMD x399 platform instead that is coming soon.
