Intel's unvaccinated employees face unpaid leave

That's entirely incorrect, if you want the highest level immunity to all the future variants you should triple vaccine dose AND have natural antibodies from a previous covid case.

Oh and 80% of the Canadian population voted to allow employers to terminate staff that refuse to vaccinate.
Lol I'm good.

Why do people working from home need to be tested weekly? I thought the vaccines just lessened the symptoms but did nothing for transmission?

Nazi = National Socialists. They were anti-religion, used junk science to push their racist agenda and selectively demonized those they disagreed with. Do some research before making a fool of yourself online.
Xex360 was completely correct in their statement. You're manufacturing a disagreement so you can drag in "socialist" re Nazis. That's a favorite ploy of the alt-right today, who pivot on that to claim that socialists = nazis = progressives = commies = libruls = marxists = fascists = Democrats = racists = leftists = everyone who opposes them. Thus making a fool of yourself online.

Well, we didn't "vote" per se, but every poll that was conducted did show at least 80% in favour of termination. In Canada, we're not so ready to suffer fools. :D

The easiest way to tell if someone's a fool is if they think that National Socialist means Socialist as Karl Marx termed it. The problem that the alt-right has is the fact that generally, the more to the right you go, the less intelligent you are. Less intelligent people are the best at making fools of themselves by pretending that they have a clue when they clearly don't.

Get f'ing vaccinated you *****s! I wish the Canadian government would mandate vaccinations for all citizens, we're only at 86% vaccinated in Canada. I guess I should be happy to live in one of the few places in the world where people listen to science.

And when you have your utopian 100% vaccination rate and people are still contracting and dying of it who will be your new boogeyman? Who will you demonize next?

Straw man much? Nobody anywhere ever said that vaccines would prevent all covid deaths, or that we could get 100% vaccinated, or keep everyone that way. So don't pretend that people who never claimed any of that (!) are somehow "demonizing" others. What silly sophistry - but typical for anti-vaxxers who must, after all, counter common sense with something.

I'm not into demonizing anyone, I just think that being forced to work in a public place with people that refuse to give a $hit about public health is a major problem. We all get every other vaccine, what makes this one so scary?

To be fair, in Canada we don't give a $hit about the religious right and their 18th century beliefs about abortion. We gave Morgentaler the order of Canada, in Texas he'd be a criminal. Dr. Henry Morgantaler was a human rights activist that campaigned for abortion rights. Today, women across Canada can get a publicly funded abortion at Morgentaler clinics in every major city.

To be fair, the anti-vaxxers tend to be overwhelmingly evangelical. Catholics tend to be far less crazy and far less likely to be on the far-right than evangelicals.
That's true, that's generally why I have no use for the evangelical type. If Jesus would come back today, he'd call them the modern-day Pharisees.
Are there concentration camps full of anti-vaxxers? - Nope
Ask Australia, they'd be singing a different tune. They're busting into the homes of suspected Covid infected, rounding them up, and putting them in camps. Oh, I'm sorry... "special housing for their own good".

Abortion is murder. Period. When someone murders a pregnant woman, under the law that's considered double homicide. Why? Because the murderer killed two people, the mom and the unborn child. But why is it when we kill just the unborn child, it's not called murder? Double-standard much?

Oh, I forgot... women's rights. We don't care about the innocent here that did nothing to deserve it.

People are going to have to come to the eventual conclusion that this thing is never going to go away, just like the regular Flu and the common cold.

Would you feel any differently, were you staring down 18 years of child support if an accidental pregnancy that you caused weren't terminated?

Would you be willing to pay the price of all your self righteousness?

You assume too much. I'm for one who always booed at the orange-haired pumpkin.
So that was inverse sarcasm then? Sorry, I'm a bit dyslexic with my sense of irony.

As for "the pumpkin king", "to know, know, know him, Is to not, not, love him, and I don't, and I don't" ...(That was paraphrased from an old "do wop" ballad).

Oh man, I'd take unemployment any day over unpaid leave. In my current situation might even be worth pretending I'm not vaxxed and boosted.

I think it's a fine line between personal freedoms and the right of an employer to demand certain qualifications to do your job. Whether that's a level of competency or simply physical fitness. We live in a world where employers have more responsibility towards their employee's health than ever before. The Army for example expects you to be getting various shots before deployment, if you refused then you were toast. Likewise, there are still allowable exemptions.

I see where you're going with the Nazi Germany health and social 'programs' however that's a very long jump in my opinion from this. They are so well documented and known it's a bit extreme to think we're sliding towards thinly veiled pogroms. Come on.
I am glad that you mentioned the army, since it used to be sufficient to show that you had natural immunity (previous recovered infection) to get a waiver from the need for innoculation.
Also, the army is not the model for a society.
What I see happening now is a "new" science that is completely unaware of all of previous human science up to one year ago. The scientific objective should be herd-immunity, but... the obvious objective is herd-compliance. We have known from the beginning that covid is dangerous to those over 70 and to those with severe co-morbidities. School children are more likely to die from lightning strikes or being attacked by packs of wild dogs than this cold. All the evidence shows that in the unvaccinated there is no such thing as an asymptomatic spreader. (Unlike with the vaccinated where they can have very high viral loads and be spreading them while not exhibiting symptoms)
I would also like to object to the notion that employers have any duty to enforce health mandates on their employees. If a person gets covid, send them home for 2 weeks and then they come back. Just like any other cold or flu. Covid, while a nasty cold, is not captain trips or ebola, but aparently it is useful.

It's a pity your schools taught only nazi history, as health focus was clear in ancient greek or rome. It is not anything very modern, or weird, or nazi - like: healthy society contributes better to the pack. That's how evolution works, that's how any animal on planet grow stronger. Unhealthy ones were victims to predators, healthy ones would thrive.

Now we have real montary interest to not being healthy. Corporations want's people to be eating fast food and spending hospital bills. they created this all fat-acceptance bullshit up and made it in the way that doesn't sound like cut-off legs acceptance, cataracta acceptance, 'I never bathed' acceptance. If you broke your arm you do not accept it, just getting this fixed. If someone is obesse - oh, that's fine, lets accept it! you might die, get in debt, be a nuissance for everyone, but money flows, get a pizza.
Or people will keep saying 'nazi psychosis started with health focus'... ;) forgetting about their appeal to poor in the economically challenging time. corelation doesn't mean causation.
All civilizations have health as a focus, that is why we have sewer systems, hospitals etc. When there were diseases that were incurable and transmissible we isolated the sick, ie leper colonies and the like. Covid is not leprosy, it is a cold. Those over 70 and those with severe co-morbidities are vulnerable. The young and healthy fare no worse on average than with any other cold. And yet, lockdowns that have proven to cause more harm than good, mandated experimental injections with steadily decreasing efficacy, proto-totalitarian passports to participate in society and global corporations forcing risky injections while ignoring natural immunity. Pointing out that mass psychosis has happened before with undesirable outcomes and being concerned with current mass-psychosis is not a "correlation does not mean causation" flippant argument, it is a warning that mass psychosis has no known limits. Thus it is a psychosis.

The european political spectrum is a left/right divide. It is a divide between socialist factions. Left = internationalist, trans-nationalist, communist and such. Right = nationalist and socialist. (
This is an insufficient model for the USA since we have a third faction that is not socialist. It is libertarian, classical liberal, constitutional. Since this faction does not believe in using state power coercively, they are both anti socialist left and anti socialist right. It is incorrect to label them right or alt-right as they are the opposite while at the same time being opposite of left. Right/left are the two sides of the socialist coin while those who see both as either nazis or commies and are labeled conservatives, constitutionalists, libertarians etc are a completely different animal

Another carefully reasoned and well-stated rejection of common sense. Sadly, for all your sophistry, the US alone has >800K dead in <2 years. Are you responsible for any of those, ya think?

If this was an actual epidemic... .
Says the guy so sunk in conspiracy-think that he claimed that "all deaths are reported as Covid" I.e. spuriously, to boost the numbers. Thereby casually vilifying countless doctors, nurses, healthcare managers, all oversight etc. They're all in on "it", right? So easy to just say that!

Although - as with the Election Steal Big Lie - not one single person involved has come forward to claim they were bribed or approached for it. In years now - on the stories of the century!

The alt-right can believe anything but can learn nothing.
