Interminent pc freezing when opening CS 1.6

Hey.

I play Counterstrike 1.6 and my pc freezes when opening the application. The way it seems is, when i start my pc I can start counterstrike, If I close it, then try and open it later it freezes?

I dont have a clue why, I though maybe because I only have onboard graphics but it doesnt freeze during gameplay. My system specs are in my profile.

go to www.systemrequirementslab.com and look for Half life ( since Counterstrike is apart of half life )

If you get recommended you system might be running too much programs so go to Ctrl + alt + delete and delete all the useless stuff like MSN, AIM, Itunes or anything you dont need while running games, Also dont delete anything under System, Local Service, Network or Taskmgr.exe / Explorer.exe

If you get a minimum pass then upgrade your system to the stuff it needs ( videocard, RAM or something else like that )

If you fail do the same for the minimum pass results
