I'm currently using 6600 MSI 256mb for my quake 4 and need for speed most wanted...and it seem to me that they arent running smooth...since i have 1gb dual channel and 1.8gb processor....and it doesn't satisfy me...
Anyway I'm planning to upgrade my graphic card to 7800 GT 256mb...but which one should i choose?

or

and likely my motherboard is

so any advice?

Thanks all, much appreciated~

there both the same card, so id say go for the cheepe one, you will see a drimatic chane in viedo preformance, by the way, what power supply do yo have because the 7800gt sucks alot of juice

i'd go for the one with the rebate...although that N516 model is a higher number than the N515...hmmmm, very enticing hehe just kidding!! the specs look exactly alike, so save up money....and like they say...recommends a 450 watt minimum PS?!??!!? god that is an energy hog

go for the cheaper one. i think there exactly the same card excpet the one w/o the rebate cant be comboed with the processors.

oh ok....btw is 2x 7800 256mb GT is the SAME as 7800 256mb GTX...and what is the different between those two?...I notice the GTX cost more than 7800 256mb GT....but what is REALLY in the GTX???? what new things do they include?

I'll post back my PS later...since i have good connection for 56K XD...

thanks

no 2x 7800gt as seen in benchmarks mean 2 7800gt's in an sli configuration, the 7800gtx has 24 pixil piplines while the 7800gt has only 20

a 400watt would be good if its brand name like antec, froton,Thermeltake, and it sohlud have like 22 or more amps on the 12vlot rail
