Is Upscaling Useful at Lower Resolutions? Nvidia DLSS vs Native at 1080p

I realize the article was focused on dlss and the AA effects and solutions but zero mention of DLDSR? Really?

For those on a 1080p display and have a strong gcard with a lot of performance headroom afforded by said 1080p display:

DLDSR + DLSS Quality + all forms of Anti aliasing disabled is leaps and bounds superior to native 1080p with any AA enabled, including DLAA. This is the true benefit of dlss at 1080p.

The fact that the article didn't mention this even once is kind of disappointing tbh.
