Is Windows XP home upgrade edition transferrable?

i heard that it only needs a CD verification on a previous version to fully install. SO I was wondering if it is transferable too.
 
Yes, it is transferable, I believe. The OS you are upgrading from has to be transferable too though :)

If you have it installed, see the \windows\system32\eula.txt file. Actually, you could port it here - would be an interesting read.
 
yes. You can transfer it, however you need a full edition of XP to install it with that upgrade key. The computer you had it on originally has to be deleted. M$ may require you to phone call them in order to install it on another system.
