Laptop To Tv Blurry

I have connected my NC6000 to my Sony tv. The screen is blurry. I am using S video out to s video in. Will I see an improvement if I use a VGA to component cable instead of S video?

S-Video is blurry especially on LCD panels. A VGA connection would be better or HDMI would be best (if your PC has it).

I meant to say VGA to composite cable. My Sony only has the S-Video or the (yellow) RCA type video input. Would that still be an improvement over S-Video?

Hi Techster,

I suspect that this would be the same or worse than the current S-Video connection. That type of connection was just never designed to handle signals at the high resolution.
