One week after unveiling its new Logi brand, Logitech is launching the first accessories that will bear the name in the form of three lightweight cases that can protect iPad Air 2 and iPad mini from drops up to six feet.

The Logi Blok protective shell is a rigid shell for the iPad Air 2 and all iPad minis. Its square corners and absorbent polymers are designed to disperse and absorb the force of an impact. It also comes with a screen protector to minimize scratches and several easy-access ports. The shell is available in black or teal/blue and retails at $39.99

The Logi Blok protective case for the iPad Air 2 adds a hinged stand that can be adjusted within a 50 degree range. It also includes a liquid-repellent cover that protects the iPad’s screen when closed. The case adds a red/violet option to the available colors and is available for $69.99

Lastly, the third product from the new range is the Logi Blok protective keyboard case for the iPad Air 2. It adds a detachable Bluetooth keyboard with dedicated iOS shortcut buttons to the case, allowing the iPad to be used like a laptop. The keyboard case retails at $129.99.

Logitech says it worked together with Cranfield University to find the right plastic mixture for the new cases, allowing for a decent amount of protection without making them too thick.

All of the Logi BLOK cases will be available from August in the US, Australia, New Zealand, and in select European countries.
