Hi all,

I installed Norton Internet 2007 (legit version) and all was well.

I'm thinking of doing a clean install though, and I've lost my product key.

I've emailed symantec but no response as yet; anyone know if there is anyway of finding this on my system? Or have I had it?

On a side note, though it generally seems like a good product, Search and Destroy regularly finds threats (low level) that Norton lets by, even though I've configured it to block all.

Any replied appreciated.

Most people in these forums would advise you to forget Norton,as it use a lot of memory and CPU time.
It`s detection record is not much (or any) better than some free products(AVG,Zone Alarm etc)

If you still want to keep Norton, here are the places you can find the Product key

1.On the back of the CD envelope.

2. In your confirmation email message.
You can also see it if you log on and view your order details.

3.In the program itself :

Start Norton -

In the upper-right corner of the window, click Help & Support.

Click About Norton product name, where product name is the name of your Norton product.

In the About program name dialog box, click the tab for your product name.

The product key is located in the Product Key field.

See HERE

Failing that, hope they get back to you.
