low 3dmark06 score?

why is my score so slow? i had closed all other applications and stuff. is my computer just that crappy?

You could upgrade your video card. But keep on mind that 3dmark 2006 is programmed to make your pc look VERY OLD AND CRAPPY.

But, like I said, if you upgrade your video card, you should notice more speed in REAL games. Just don´t care too much about 3dmark.

You card doesn't support SM3.0, which is still included in the final score, you get a zero for this test. So, 3Dmark06 isn't really relevant for your card, you would be better off comparing scores using 3Dmark03 or 05.

3dmark06 is NOT a benchmark designed to yield comparable results as it's swayed dramatically by CPU power as well as selective features (yet penalizes for more advanced/additional 3d features!).

I'd say uninstall 3dmark06 in hopes that 3dmark07 may be released soon accomodating all the problems 3dmark06 has. Until then, 3dmark05 is truly the only semi-average comparison benchmark tool.

As far as your system is concerned, the X700 is a very low-end, budget videocard which suffers from dramatically low memory bandwidth/performance. For more modern games, an upgrade would likely improve things dramatically- even a cheap, budget upgrade (around $90-$150 USD would likely yield 2x-4x 3d performance improvement in modern games).
