My inner conspiracy theorist always wonders just how much these leaks are "accidentally on purpose." This leak has basically blown away all speculation of whether or not Rockstar is selling out by "not punching down" and the conversation has almost completely shifted to the design of the game. It's heaven-sent if they were trying to veer discussion and comparisons to "Saints Row" rebooted away.

Rockstar, it looks like, the more money you make, you get detached from reality. For a franchise that has always thrived going over the limits of decency, going woke is basically, a death sentence. Which is what they used to do, but nowadays they cant offend people's feelings. Unless it's the right people, then you can beat on them mercilessly, with none of the wit or satire of earlier games, with no repercussion.

WTF, 20-25 fps on a 3080 this means 40-50 on a 4080. I know this is in beta stage but damn.

Welcome to the world of PC gaming. I have 3 sequels, namely Killing Floor 2, Diablo 2 Resurrected, Starcraft 2, NONE of them is able to run at 60 FPS in 4K. On my 2080 Ti. All of them are old games, of course.

Unfortunately for the series, it's become so mainstream that I think Rockstar is more likely to deliver GTA V 2 than GTA VI. Kind of like with Skyrim.

You say that, yet time after time these woke moves to "protect muh minorities" inevitably result in boring slop that sells poorly and loses money. Just look at the abysmal sales of the new saints row: self owned.

Yeah Im not talking about videogames, im talking larger business and political stances like vaccines, abortion, racism and other larger issues.

They tend to side with “woke” cause they are the ones who “will never shop there again”

But in reality, the presidents of those business’s are rich AF and could care less to share their own political position.
