You seem to be suffering from badly distorted memories. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in 2016, but lost the electoral college. She then conceded the election the night it happened.
That's a HEAVY history rewrite, you're basically saying that Clinton never asked the electors to follow "the popular vote" instead of doing what they were supposed to do (vote with their state): you have an axe to grind, I guess, or maybe you have short memory. In the other hand, claiming ANY wrongdoing is perfectly fine as long as there's a peaceful power transition? What's orange man's crime again?
In comparison to Trump, even Al Gore didn't put on a terribly long running sh!tshow. The current tediously extended black comedy is exclusively the province your pathologically lying, dyed orange, psychopathic, delusional, cult leader.
It's not apples to apples because none of the cases were with incumbents, but Gore did made a lot of fuss, and there was the Florida recount, where he "lost", probably because there was a Bush on the governorship at that moment. Even if the elections were performed perfectly, there were reasons to complain with that family connection there (and because it was Gore's last resort, legally at least).
In 2020 it was 2000's Gore times A LOT, since there were SEVERAL states "counting" ballots WEEKS after election day, with a lot of videos and claims about shenanigans. The best course of action would have been to address such shenanigans claims in a timely fashion but instead the position was: the election was perfect, if you complain you're a conspiracy theorist, shut up or else "WE'LL" shut you up. BTW, they did shut up everyone, it was IMPOSSIBLE to talk negatively about election outcomes for a couple years; I dare you to find a "public" discussion of the subject on the 11/2020-2022 timeframe.
Regarding the "cult leadership" (funny that you sound like a dem...) there are 3 options for the relationship with politics:
1. You're in for the principles, you basically "follow" the politician because you're identified with him/her. Sometimes that "relationship" gets hurt by differences in vision down the road, sometimes is a crusade and the politician can't do anything wrong (there's always an "explanation" for everything). You could compare it to being a fan (or even a cult follower?).
2. You're convinced by other people that this is the right thing to do, and that you should be more like people in #1. You go around promoting the politics of group #1 because it makes you feel good, rightful, although you don't get much more out of it. We could call this type "useful id!ots".
3. You are making money with it, in which case it doesn't matter what "you" think. The main objective is to do whatever is that the "leadership" wants (the customer is always right) and most of the time involves adding/recruiting people for the group in point #2.
In my case, I would say that I don't do any of those, and if I were to do anything would be money (#3). Since I'm getting very little from it, I want the one candidate/president that will screw less with me and the country. In opposition, where are you, #1 or #2? (or maybe you're #3, kuddos to you in that case, although you wouldn't disclose such thing, I understand)
As for Florida being, "paradise", and, "the place 'woke' go es to die", that's literally true. To the geriatric Republicans there I say, " vos qui morituri ego salutamus". (You who are about to die, (of natural causes), I salute you. Although the 100 degree ocean temps there (**) should make for a great final hot tub session.
(**) Or did Biden make NOAA lie about that too?
Who said that Florida was a paradise? That's fake news, please be sure to educate whomever you can, hopefully a lot of New York, California, and other paradises' refugees. With good luck they'll see the light and return to their respective paradises and leave the Floridian hell, which would be EXTREMELY good for the hell dwellers.
Tropical summers are hot, and humid: is like finding that the world is hot on a trip to the Sahara. Regarding the other world ending events, like sea level rises, start to worry when the wealthy people move to own mountaintops and The Rockies becomes the hottest real estate destination. While they keep paying millions, like Obama's $15M+, for a waterfront property, you can safely claim the the cataclysm is not here yet.
