Our entire society strongly discourages face to face interaction. Laws now make many men timid of even talking to a woman, much less asking her out. No more Ice Cream socials, few single clubs and on and on. We are a sexually motivated species, yet we are doing everything possible (even if not intentional) to discourage propagation of the species. Is it really a surprise now?

You pointed that out rightly. As a species, and the western world with access to all these gadgets is now communicating lesser and lesser on social circles and even to our our family members and friends. Look at the millennials now they even get to express their emotions on Twitter rather than on one-on-one basis.

Actually, no!.. This separation (between men and women) is just another way to fragment our society, along with the destruction of the family, religion and so on. I choose to, simply, ignore it and make friends with normal people who won't pay much attention to any (!) of it. =)

I honestly wouldn't be surprised that in 10/20 years, that robots with intelligent AI will start to replace real women for these type of men. I recently saw an article on a lifelike robot that the chinese made...that along with future AI will make women think twice about relationships and the power dynamic.

Right, sure; except, what'll happen once women are easily artificially inseminated (like it is already possible today) and /or babies are grown in incubators (so that they won't even have to bother with a pregnancy). We could argue that'll be the time when they won't be "needing" men, either?! What kind of a path will that be, then!?

It's all a moot point. If these people want to replace real human beings with cyborgs and grow offspring in test tubes, all they are doing is eliminating defective genes from the gene pool. Less competition.
