MSI to lay off 10-20% of employees after the holidays?

Layoffs are always hard but it wouldn't be surprising considering the state of the economy. With profits and revenues way down companies have to find ways to be more efficient to stay in business. Thankfully my company hasn't had any widespread layoffs but they have let go several people for performance reasons. MSI may have a lot of unnecessary positions or underperforming personnel that is just can't afford to keep.

I can definitly understand them cutting underperforming employees with the economy like it is...well really regardless..its understandable. Like most companies regardless of if there doing ok their still preparing for the worst. The fact that they will be hiring to fill spots after this is good news though. I'm surprised at how many comments have said msi has bad products...i've had quite a few of there motherboards and have been happy with them.

MSI is losing money. Cutting employees is the wrong way to fake profits while management continue to pump out worthless plans to lose money on sales. Employees are only as good as the management and directors, and when those are useless, employees are powerless to help the company become profitable.

Losing your job anytime is never good (unless you hated your job) but it really sucks around the holidays. Good luck to those people who are let go.
