My email sends itself - I am using Windows 7 - mostly happens with AOL

Hey everyone - I saw a post from 2007 that described the same phenomenon I have.

My email sends by itself while I am typing. I have been trying to recreate the situation to see whether there is a particular key combination that I use, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

It may only be happening with aol (I know, I have lots of other email addresses, but I like aol).

I am using Windows 7. I also have a problem where the cursor jumps around and I start typing all over the email.

Anyone have the same problem? It isn't "Alt-s"

What I was thinking was you were typing something and wanted to make a capital 'S' and tagged the <ctrl> key at the same time as the <shift> key. ....and AOL? Really? Try reinstalling AOL, dunno why you get extraneous key strokes and cursor jumping. It only jumps around in AOL? Have you tried running the AOL program in Windows XP compatible mode in Windows 7?
