Hi
I just got a linksys wireless router, wrt54g model number. Ive set up two other routers and havent had any problems whatsoever in doing so, but this one just doesnt seem to work. After failing to get it to work on one of the computers here, i used my personal one and it worked fine. However, i havent tested it with another computer yet, wired that is. My laptop uses a wireless connection, and that connects to the network just fine, but will not browse webpages at all. Strangly the google website loads. The laptop is able to connect to trillian with no problem, and it also works with my old wireless router. Ive turned off the firewall in the router, and dont have any wep keys setup yet to reduce factors that could cause issues. I know all the internet settings must be right as it all works fine on my personal comupter conencted thru the ethernet. Am i missing something here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
