new to forum & need info on 6800gs upgrades

hi people i have a 256mb 6800gs xfx card and can play oblivion @1280/1024 and on medium settings BUT i want all the getting maxed out:

should i make do with this card till dx10 or should i get a new nvidia card

Price drop.

The DX10 cards are going to be really expensive when first released, and you said that holding out until then was an option. So hold out until then and get a 7950, it will be a performance increase over your 6800 and tie you over until the DX10 cards are cheaper and there are a decent amount of games using DX10.
