Outlook Express glitch??

Hi Folks,
Looking for some help please. Likely after an update (I'm not really sure). Express suddenly does not allow me to click on a link in the body of an e-mail as it used to, and open Explorer to the linked page. Now that input locks up Express requiring me to log off or re-boot. Anyone???

Are you up-to-date with MS patches? OE is tightly bound to IE and XP internals.

Possible reasons

You are not being sent Hyper Text or have yours set to receive plan text.
You can still copy and paste this in the address bar.
You should not have the results you describe.Check your Tools/options for
Read and Send and uncheck Plain Text.

Are these links a different color then the message text ?
Can you do this frome here with a link ?
It should be blue.Message is black.

Outlook Express is usually blue,sometimes redish pink.
But different from the message,i presume is black.

Hi again. The links are blue and the other text is black or whatever color the sender has selected.

Yes I can click on any link while in Explorer and open the new page, just cannot do it from Express anymore. . . .???

Thats seems normal

I'm sure you've clicked these blue links in many places.
I can't think of any other reason yours are disabled in OEx.
