PC vs Xbox 360 vs PS3

You'd have to pay more that 500$ for a good PC. I'd say getting an Xbox is worth it, and can flash your hard drive but it's risky and you loose your warranty. Also, bitGamer recently closed down, which was the best site to torrent games from.

No I have done the research.... Ram 8 gb Ati hadeon hd 7750, Gigabyte FM2 Mother Board, processor 4 core 3.6 ghz, 1tb hard drive, ilegal OS :-D, thats about 440$..... With keyboard, mouse, other its about 500$ (I have the monitor and speakers) but the xbox is less money.....Wgat to do???

You have $150. And you keep talking about pirated stuff, which TS doesn't condone.

I think you need to save some more money.

TS is TechSpot, this website. St1ckM4n is correct. We do not support the use of pirated software.

Also, a Radeon 7750 is good for around about 2011 games, it's not a card that'll cope well with Ultra graphics of demanding games like Metro 2033 and Crysis 2 (I have a 6870 - a better card - and that runs ultra on Metro at about 20 fps), and although you may not be playing games at ultra, or mind a slower fps, the 7750 is by no means a way of future proofing (which really is worth saving an extra few months for!).

By a 3.6GHz Quad-Core I assume you mean the AMD 'Bulldozer' FX4100? I know from research that I found myself (Because when I built my PC 3 months back I considered it) that it was literally a load of shite. It's a 4 'logical' core processor, so it's 2 physicsal with threading - which by no means is the same thing. BUT for budget gaming and an entry-level PC it will do the job

Also in your build you didn't mention any cables that you'd need, thermal stuff, PC case or Power Supply Unit, are the keyboard and mouse USB?

So I'd just go with an Xbox if I were you.

I dont know still.... If I buy xbox (my tv will support it) though xbox games are wery expensive and I cant play multiplayer.... On pc its free.....

If you're willing to save I'd say go for the PC every time, but with the Xbox 360 you've only set yourself back about £100 (150$), you can always buy pre-owned games (On amazon most are about £15/22$) and the online community on Xbox is shite anyway - I know from experience. The thing about Xbox is that you're garunteed for a game to run on a mid-level graphics, whereas with PC you're not garunteed for recent games graphics, especially with the Radeon HD 7750 which is getting dated quite quickly now. And were on PC most gamers are trying to get it at 60 FPS (There's no visual difference between 60 and 30 except fluidity) the Xbox never goes below 30 of it's own fault.

I own both, and made the transition from Xbox to PC about a year and a half ago. Don't get me wrong, there are still some games I play on the Xbox like GTA IV, the CoDs, Halo 4, and generally most First Person Shooters because I feel that the controller is better taylored for it. But in the end it's all about personal preference at least in that area.

ZbestGamor the impression I'm getting is you want something that will enable you to play multiplayer, likely on the cheap. As pointed out your budget is a little low for a PC and any multiplayer experience on the 360 will require an accompanying subscription which may or may not be available where you live. I would recommend a PC as I find that to be the best overall experience but the front end will require a lot more investment than a 360. If you can save up more money, do that. And don't forget the next generation consoles will likely be out at the end of the year, so any new investment in a 360 would be moot.

I collected enough for an xbox.... I found where I can flash it for 30$ though I dont know if u flash it u just burn the game on ur CD or u have to have a specific driver??? And can u play a xbox on ur monitor and how???(if u can) And can I play games w/ good graphics when the xbox 720 comes out?? ( then the games will require more)

Mate, we've already said, Techspot doesn't condone pirating. Also, coherent English would be nice.

- Yes, you can play Xbox on a monitor. Use HDMI cable.
- No one knows if Xbox 720 will be backwards compatible with X360 games.

PC as always what not it can do... Games From lowest setting for just who cares about story or plot.. To Maximum setting for one who cares about the looks and all the Mumbo Jumbo.. Games of today games of yesteryear's, Movies, music, information, learning and development. Cheap build or expensive build PC will always outshine others ;-)

Everyone even the fanboys that can't accept the truth knows that ps3 runs better than 360 when it comes to picture quality. In fact my ps3 visually beats my $450 pc with an old phenom x2 and a cheap $225 evga 660 card, so I've been mostly using my ps3 for a while till I can get a new system.

There is no lie about PS3 producing a higher graphical quality than the 360, and that IS coming from a Microsoft fanboy. The PS3 also one-ups the 360 via free internet, better exclusives (in my opinion) and a simpler interface, but what the Xbox lacks in graphics, it generally made up with in smoothness, as it almost always had a higher framerate. The online is obviously of a higher-quality, but that is, again, for obvious reasons - I'm sure that if PS3 made users pay, theirs would be better. Microsoft's security was generally better as well, with a small number of hacked accounts and the market wasn't hacked. But when you're comparing a tailor made gaming console that cost about $450, and a general use $450 PC it's obvious that the console will outdo the PC, whereas the console is usually in development for years, tailor made and they don't need to make as much profit on the sale of each console, as they make money via royalties on the sale of each games and each marketplace DLC.

PS. all rumours also point to the PS4 being better too.

Guys my dad said that if I buy a computer I can play it for max.2 h and that y don't I play on his computer because its pretty strong (can play all new games) what do u think??? Should I still buy a computer or a xbox (because it costs less)...

I think you're still young and living at home and should listen to what your parents tell you. Save your money for university or something.

I have all 3 . I made my own rig for $700 and it runs all games great. I didn't use my 360 because I was sick of paying for online , and for more batteries. I use my PS3 for PS3 exclusive games because they have good ones ( the 360 doesn't have. ) .
So by far PC is the best , Close battle for 2nd but PS3 , Xbox360 is 3rd . My favourite consle would have to be the nintendo gamecube. Yeah I said nintendo!;)

I hink I ahould buy a ps 3 after the ps4 comes out cuz it will cost about 200$ which I have now ( I have 150€) ... Wgat do u think guys??? Btw ps4 will not be backwords compatible...

PS4 won't be backwards compatible at launch, but Sony are looking in to it, and might make it comparable with a patch. I can't believe it's been this long and you still haven't made up your mind. If you want to play, buy it now.

Where?? ( not in my country for sure!!!) In Serbia ( where I live) it costs now 300€ and 350€ and that's slim not super slim!! But xbox costs 200€...
