PCI wireless G card crazy when overclocking

I know the PCI port is sensative to overclocking, but I only overclocked like 200mhz from 1.8 - 2.ghz. I have an AMD64 athalon 3000+ venice. Now everything else runs fine except that thing. it wants to check a conncetion ever few seconds and pauses for 1 second. even if I OC it like 50mhz it will do it. Is there anyway in the bios to get around this?

Usually, there would be something called PCI divider or lock, Use it. Be careful too of Sata, they dun take overclock well at all.
