I think this is a hardware problem, but we'll see what you guys think. I am trying to play Red Alert 2 w/ 1.006 patch (latest), it's an IPX game. I was trying to play over Wireless (802.11b) through a PCMCIA card, I'd get in the lobby and see the game, but when I click on join the game freezes and it never loads. So I thought, "okay, maybee this is just a wifi issue" so I tried it over my PCMCIA 10/100 network card using cat-5 cable with the same results. The computer has a built in NIC but it cuts in and out so I cant use it cuz you lose connection during games, however point being I can start up the game that way, which doesnt make any sense to me. Why can I not play over PCMCIA. I already made sure that the IPX protocol is installed. Whats goin on here?
