Please help with 'sketchy' work pc.

You guys have been a terrific help before. Thanks for that and in advance with this. My work pc is starting to stall when it used to just be fast and smooth. Im worried I might have carried something over from my disease spreading home computer.
Please advice.

Try defragging the harddrive and running your anti virus software?

I defrag every other week and my antivirus software is always on, scanning every so often. Still can't find anything wrong though. Please help.

ok then make sure you're not running a lot of programs in the background. check your system tray and shut down any programs you aren't using. alot of programs start up when windows starts up. you can fix this by running msconfig. or by the settings in each individual program. also make sure your virus defs are up to date and run a full system scan. I'm sure theres other things you can do just can't think of them right now.
