Hi guys,

Im new to this forum, and im joining it because of a problem ive been having over the last couple of weeks. The computer will just reset for no apparent reason, then a message would pop up after saying that the pc has recovered from a serious error, i click send error report, and then it tells me its a driver problem. Well i turn off the 'reset on failure' option, and now whenever the driver problem occurs, a BSOD shows up, apparently its a BAD_POOL_HEADER. My friend who custom built the pc doenst know how to fix it, so i am completely out of ideas. I am running the pc in safe mode atm, because the BSODs are turning up more and more often.

pleaaaaaaase somebody here help me out...the pcs only about a month old...

thx for your time

this error is generally attributed to bad or failing ram (though not always). Run memtest 86+ booted from a floppy or CD for at least 7 passes to test ram. any errors indicate bad ram. Replace.
