Power supply delay, 5 minutes!

hi peeps got a shuttle x AMD 1.2ghz mini pc here, and when we power it up it can take 5 minutes before the power kicks in! the LED's on the front dont even come on,as if it is dead! Then all of a sudden TA-DAAAA its on! It oncetook 14 minutes before the power kicked in, never heard of this happening before?!!!

What do you think guys?

Opened the case to have a look and now the fan turns for a second or two and nothing happenes so i presume it maybe the psu???

Thats what it sounds like to me.

Alternatively you could just not shut down that system

its a silent x PSU (very small) and hard to replace because they are hard to find, the motherbaordis a fx42 can be found here....http://eu.shuttle.com/archive/en/fx41.htm

If i was to re case the unit what case could i use the mobo is very small...thanks again
