Problem with video card

hi everyone, i am here to ask
i was currently formatting my laptop but i have found there is a prob with video card.
i was not very good in this kind of thing. i've found the problem when i want to play games on my laptop..it said that my video card does not support this game.i kind of curious because last time before formatting i can play the games..does it have to do with formatting because i asked someone to format my lappy..please help me..
