random IE pop-ups

I've been working for hours trying to remove spontaneous IE popups. I don't even use IE, just Firefox. So far I've run AdAware, Spybot S+D, Ewido, and a cache of other programs. It seems a bit better, but I'm still scared. Thanks for the help.

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how HERE. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

Run HJT with no other programmes open, and have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).
